KIDS WRITING COMPETITION

Write a poem of up to 200 words! It can be in any style you like. One entry per child.​

The Prizes

All entries will be collated into an anthology produced by Better Read Publishing, which will be launched online, and sold thereafter at Better Read Than Dead bookshop. The winning entry in each age category will receive a $100 store voucher and a runner up in each category will receive a $50 store voucher.

The Categories

The age categories are;​ 

6-9, 10-12 and 13-17.

How to Submit Your Story

To enter you will need to submit your story via our online system, by clicking 'SUBMIT NOW' below, by June 30, 2023.

Please submit as a word document.
