About the Event
Join Katharine Rogers and Nana Sakata, the author and illustrator of Cockatoo Magic, for a fantastic and fun morning of craft activities based on their gorgeous picture book.
This event will be hosted by our BRTD Kids Manager, Matilda. Snacks will be provided but participants should bring their own lunch.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Meet Ellie, a young girl who wishes to go on big adventures, but feels too small.
A cheeky cockatoo named Snowy shows her that with a big heart – and a little bit of magic – anything is possible.
TIMELINE FOR WORKSHOP
9.30am - Registration
10am - Workshop with Katharine and Nana
11am - Snack time! (snacks will be provided by BRTD)
11.10am - Workshop with Katherine and Nana
12pm - Lunch time! (participants should bring their own lunch)
12.45pm - Bookshop viewing time
1pm - Pick up
Please ensure your child brings their own lunch and that you let us know if they have any dietary requirements for snacks.
