Heroes & Villains: A Better Read Kids Anthology of Writing features 32 entrants to our writing competition, for which we cast our net to children aged 8-14 Australia-wide, posing a challenge: to write a short piece to the theme of Heroes & Villains. So many brilliant young authors heeded our call. This anthology is a celebration of their work. We are thrilled that this competition was met with enthusiasm and joy from the community, not to mention a few roundhouse kicks from the entrants. As a community hub, we pride ourselves not only on putting the best books into the hands of families, but sparking the joy of creating as well.
